Scope and content:

Albums and loose photographic prints that parallel, but rarely match, the glass and film negatives in the collection. Prints were numbered by Cardinell-Vincent with the same filing number scheme used for the negatives. However, the surviving parts of the print and negative archive in the Rogers collection rarely contain both the negative and the print for any given image. When matching prints and negatives were noticed, a reference note was made in this finding aid, but systematic matching was not undertaken.

Albums have numerous blank pages, often with evidence of photographs having been removed prior to arrival at library. Loose photographic prints found in albums as well as photographic prints found within the negative files have been housed separately (in PIC box 1 and B folder 1.)
