Scope and content:

Collection contains commercial photographic prints taken in San Francisco during and after the disaster of 1906. Views show fires burning, earthquake and fire damage, cityscapes and a refugee camp. Among the buildings and locations pictured are Alamo Square, Mission Dolores Park, Metropolitan Temple, California St., Telegraph Hill, Market St., Nob Hill and Fairmont Hotel. Two of the prints (nos. 8 and 10) are hand-colored. Most of the photographs are by Florey.
