Collection contains views taken in San Francisco during and after the disaster of 1906. Views show earthquake and fire damage, fires burning, soldiers, refugees and refugee camps, and reconstruction efforts. Among the locations and buildings pictured are Golden Gate Park, Nob Hill, Fairmont Hotel, Market St., Call Building, City Hall, and South of Market District. Also includes photos of an unidentified town, a night scene possibly taken in San Jose or San Francisco, a railroad depot on Mt. Tamalpais, an unidentified man in a canyon, and an unidentified stream. Photographers are unidentified.
