Collection contains views of San Francisco from the 1860s until just after the 1906 earthquake and fire. Albums: vol. 1. (ca. 1875-ca. 1906), general views of San Francisco, street scenes, individual buildings, Woodwards Gardens, Golden Gate Park, Chinatown, etc. -- vol. 2. (ca. 1860's-1907), general views, street scenes, mansions, Chinatown, businesses, etc. "Selleck's Photographic Gallery" sign appears in one of the photos -- vol. 3 (1906), San Francisco earthquake and fire, general views of the city and individual buildings, refugee camps in Golden Gate Park and in La Fayette Square (in a few instances a photographer at work is visible) stores in burned down districts, street kitchens, temporary businesses, etc.
