Series 1 contains enumerated blueprints from the Pacific Coast Engineering Company, dating from 1911-1946. John G. Sjoberg worked at this company from about 1924 to 1941 as a design engineer and naval architect, and supervised the work of other engineer-architects. This series is available for use with some restrictions, which are noted at the item level.
Created by the Pacific Coast Engineering Company (Oakland, Calif.). Plans were found in the donor's attic, a house that was built and occupied by John Gustaf Sjoberg.
Material on the rolls is fragile and stored in temporary folders prior to conservation. Restricted access.

Arranged into 40 files, which are stored in 38 map folders and 2 restricted conservation folders. Folders are organized consecutively by drawing numbers except items longer than 47 inches, which are housed on rolls out of numerical sequence. Items that do not have assigned PCEC drawing numbers are interfiled by date or job number as noted.
