Scope and content:

This series contains records from two BCA affiliated organizations: Buddhist Women's Association (BWA) and Young Buddhists Association (YBA).

BWA materials include an assortment of minutes, conference materials, and reports produced by the World Buddhist Women's Federation, the BCA Federation of Buddhist Women's Association and the National Buddhist Women's Federation. Among the publications are anniversary booklets from temples concerning Buddhist Women's Association activities and a pamphlet titled BCA Bukkyo Fujinkai Renmei no Ayumi ("The History of the BCA Federation of Buddhist Women's Association").

YBA items include records reflecting the activities of the Young Buddhist Association, the National Young Buddhists Association, Young Buddhists League and the Western Young Buddhists League. Districts represented include the Bay, Central California, Northern California, Southern California and Hawaii districts. Records include conference booklets, event programs, reports, newsletters, district reports, and financial records documenting the activities of Buddhist youth groups.
