This collection consists of various 8mm films from distributor Blackhawk Films' catalog. Films include shorts featuring Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Laurel and Hardy, and Harold Lloyd.

Biographical / historical:

Blackhawk Films was a company that restored and reprinted shorts and films on 8mm, Super 8, and 16mm filmstock for home viewing, primarily titles from the silent film era. The company was active from the 1950s through the 1980s, and they eventually incorporated magnetic media into their catalog. The company ceased operations in 1987.
