The series contains files maintained for horses at the W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center from the time of the Kellogg Ranch to the present day. The majority of the horses were foaled at the Horse Center, but the series also includes horses temporarily boarded, donated, or otherwise connected to the institution. In addition to Arabians, there are files for horses and ponies of other breeds that have lived at the Horse Center, including Percherons, Shetland Ponies, Thoroughbreds, and Aralands (an Arabian crossed with a Shetland Pony).
The files include pedigrees, photographs, veterinary records, sales records, and correspondence.
