From 1911-1941, W.F. Stone and Son built commercial vessels, Naval vessels and yachts. Some of their customers during this time were the Alaska Packers Association, Burns-Philip Co., Coos Bay Lumber Co., Crowley L. & T. Co., Daniel Contracting Co., Frank B. Drake, Frank B. Peterson Co., Golden West Brewing Co., Hunt, Hatch & Co., J.R. Hanify Co., Paladini Fish Co., Red Salmon Canning Co., Standard Oil Co., Union Fish Co., and the U.S. Shipping Board.
