Scope and content:

Los Angeles County chapter of the World War I Committee on Public Information, Division of Four-Minute Men, a group of men organized to give four-minute long speeches on various subjects related to war efforts on the home front including Liberty Loan and "the meaning of America." Bulletins and correspondence, but primarily report cards completed by speakers with the following information: name of speaker, venue, date, time, number of people in attendance, and topic. Also statistical report cards completed by the county chairman to be sent to the state level.

Biographical / historical:

The Los Angeles County chapter of the Four-Minute Men was headquartered at 719 So. Hill Street, Los Angeles. The chairman was Marshall Stimson.
