Scope and content:

This series consists of documents created and accumulated by Martin Anderson while working on the National Commission on the Cost of Higher Education from 1997 to 1998. Documents include correspondence, briefing materials, transcriptions of meetings, drafts of the Committee's final report, printed matter (news clippings, etc.), Anderson's notes, and background material on commission members. Major correspondents include Bruno V. Manno, Rita Kirshstein, and Robert V. Burns. The series includes a document written by Anderson titled "The Missing Cost Crisis."
