This series consist of documents created and accumulated by Martin Anderson that do not fit neatly into any of the other series in this collection. Documents span the years 1916 to 2009, with the bulk created between 1975 and 2000. They include correspondence, printed matter (press clippings, etc.), drafts, Anderson's notes, lists, and staff directories.
Of note, the series includes the following items of interest: notes written by Martin Anderson regarding Joseph Kennedy and John Ehrlichman (see " [Research notes]"); a membership list for the Defense Policy Board (see " [Assorted documents], 2002" ; drafts of chapters from Edward Teller's autobiography (see "[Assorted documents], 1999-2000"); annotated minutes from National Security Council (NSC) and National Security Planning Group (NSPG) meetings regarding Cuba, Panama, and Latin America; minutes from the National Security Council (NSC) meetings; a copy of a memorandum regarding a conversation between President Ronald Reagan, Secretary George Schultz, Ambassador Jack F. Matlock, General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev, and Foreign Minister Eduard (see "Reykjavik [Summit 20th Anniversary]"); a document titled "Reagan's Secret Foreign Policy" (see "["Reagan's Secret Foreign Policy"]"); and a document titled "Analysis Classified Documents, 1981-1988" (see ["Reagan's Secret Foreign Policy"]").
The series also includes three files created by Martin Anderson while serving on the President's Economic Policy Advisory Board (see "[Assorted documents], 1987", "President's Economic Policy Advisory Board (PEPAB) Meetings", and "President's Economic Policy Advisory Board (PEPAB)"). Anderson helped establish the board in 1981, and served on it from 1982 to 1989. The documents span the years 1981 to 1989, and include meeting agendas, press releases, member lists, correspondence, and a document by Milton Friedman.

- Boxes 66, 71, 124, 380, 381, 577-580, 628-632, and 849-850 may not be used without permission of the Archivist. The remainder of the collection is open for research; materials must be requested in advance via our reservation system. If there are audiovisual or digital media material in the collection, they must be reformatted before providing access.
