Black and white photographs and proof sheets of the 1978 San Francisco Gay Freedom Day Parade, an anti-Vietnam war protest, an anti-Briggs Initiative protest, and portraits taken by Joffre Clarke. Clarke was a civil rights activist who had headed the Atlanta photo department of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) in the late 1960s.
