Contains incoming and outgoing correspondence. Due to the frequent intermixing of personal and professional matter, a distinction between the two has not been made.

- Arrangement:

Arranged alphabetically by correspondent or, in some cases, by subject. For Chinese correspondents, authorized names have been used. When not consistent with current transcription standards, Pinyin transcription has been provided in parentheses. Folders bearing only a family name contain material from various individuals with minimal correspondence or unidentified first names, and the same surname. Folders bearing a letter contain miscellaneous material from various correspondents, or individuals for whom only the first letter of a surname can be discerned.
主要以通信者的姓氏, 少數以主題, 按字母的順序歸檔. 中國人的名字, 採聯機計算機圖書館中心(OCLC)的授權名. 如果人名與授權名不一致時, 則隨後加以拼音的人名於括號內補充. 若檔案夾上只列姓氏, 則表示檔夾內僅含該姓氏的通信者, 不因其名字再細分. 至於只列有字母的檔案夾, 則是無法辨識其完整姓氏而歸類的通信者.
