Abstract: The collection includes correspondence, writings, notes, government surveillance files, pamphlets, serial publications, bulletins,
newsletters, press releases, speeches, conference papers, clippings, memorabilia, and an unpublished memoir. These materials
relate to political, social, and economic conditions in Cuba under Fidel Castro, Chile under Salvador Allende, and Nicaragua
under the Sandinistas. The collection also covers education in Cuba and United States foreign policy toward Cuba and other
Latin American countries.

Consists of one cap and one tee-shirt, with pro-Sandinista slogans from Nicaragua; one tee-shirt with slogan in English denouncing
United States policy in Central America; one political button with slogan in English supporting Chilean political prisoners;
and two flags, one of Cuba and one of the Revolutionary Movement.

field notes taken while traveling in Nicaragua (Nov 7-21, 1983); a copy of "The Nicaraguan Revolution" published by the Institute
for Policy Studies, files documenting Fagen's fieldwork in Cuba, Nicaragua and Chile; an unpublished memoir; writings, printed
materials, and notes about the Nicaragua 1990 election; assorted files about Chile, Mexico, and Central America; as well as
documents pertaining to the murders of Orlando Letelier and Charles Horman, and pertaining to the proposed construction of
a Ronald Reagan museum on Stanford campus.
