Biographical / Historical
The Institute for Energy Studies, organized in 1973, was designed to stimulate, facilitate,
and promote the development of research and academic programs in energy within existing
schools and departments.
TIhe Stanford energy lectures, dating from 1974 to 1984, were prilnarily by non-Stanford
professors and energy industry professionals, which include audience interaction, are in two
fonnats: 1/2 inch EIAJ-format videotape and 3/4 inch video cassette.
In addition to the following item list, there is a card file index to these tapes.

Scope and Contents
