Miscellaneous works of art by Giacomo Patri, including many original pieces. Material shelved in --AX includes original scratchboard
drawings of dramatic scenes (perhaps executed for a wordless novel by Patri), stylized paintings of agriculture scenes, a
forest scene print, an abstract landscape, promotional material for the Patri School of Art Fundamentals, and printed material
illustrated by Patri's art (a menu for The Apollo restaurant in San Francisco, and a brochure for Ice Lakes Chalet winter
resort in the Sierra Nevada). Material shelved in --B includes stylized landscape paintings and drawings, a 1936 drawing of
a scene from the Spanish Civil War; a San Francisco Examiner publication promoting tourism via used cars, featuring many illustrations
by Patri; and miscellaneous printed material illustrated with Patri's art (Marinship construction brochure, Southern Pacific
Railroad in Mexico brochure, Fuller Paints brochure, poster for the novel Tombstone by Walter Noble Burns, World War II propaganda
broadsides discouraing travel to San Francisco, and a promotional broadside for San Francisco Examiner). Much of the original
material is annotated and/or otherwise marked for reproduction.
