Large leather and corduroy covered accounting ledger book listing amounts fo invoices, disbursements, and vouchers by name
and date. Also includes annotations of balance sheet statements with references to orders from the Railroad commission and
required statements to be submitted to it. Also includes a smaller ledger volume (Rulon and Monarch?) [likely unrelated to
Sacramento Valley Electric Railway] containing entries for commissions paid and future sales for individuals. The names Rulon
& Monarch are written on the inside front cover and several of the entries in the ledger list the name Rulon.

The Sacramento Valley Electric Railroad was a short-lived electric interurban railway in the U.S. State of California. Originating
at a connection with the Oakland, Antioch and Eastern Railway at Dixon Junction, California, the line was projected to run
through Woodland to Marysville and up the Sacramento Valley, but was only built for twelve miles to the nearby town of Dixon,
California. Operation began on January 1, 1915, but the population of Dixon, at approximately 1000, was too small to support
an interurban service; abandonment was in August 1917, and the tracks were removed shortly thereafter.
