for exhibitions of his paintings in 2004 and 2006. Also includes 2 photographs of artist Ariel (Ariel Parkinson) at the 2006
reception, and 4 photographs taken outside of City Lights Books during a mock protest event pertaining to a Ron Turner "book
happening" (2013), depicting participants carrying signs with humorous text (e.g. "Save a tree, eat a book", "God hates facts",
"We put the phun in cacaphuny", "Clowns against Santas"). Vesuvio Cafe appears in some of the demonstration images.
