The stormy petrel, 1870s?, 1913-1915

Abstract:

Memoirs concentrating primarily on her family and her personal life, but containing some information on her voyage from New York to San Francisco around the Horn, January-August 1852, and on early Oakland, where the family settled. The narrative concludes prior to 1872 when she left California and contains no information on her writing career. Also includes a scrapbook containing obituaries.
