Note:

Sara Prager was born in the part of Galicia that was in the Austro-Hungarian empire, and she emigrated from there to Toronto, at the age of seventeen. She married Karl Gendrich, and they moved to Portland and Eugene, Ore. After Gendrich died, she married Jack Brenner. They became owners of Brenner's Furniture, a store formerly known as the Eugene Bargain Store.
