Abstract:
80 photographs, most black and white, a few hand-colored, about 70 of Phillipines, with remaining 10 of Japan, very few captions.
Phillipine images include street scenes, houses and other buildings, agriculture, rivers, bamboo bridges, port, boats (incl.
U.S. military vessel), soldiers and priest, groups of children, U.S. military barracks, band, ox drawn cart, local residents
and day-to-day activities, church, and gallows. Japanese handcolored images of shrines and other buildings, geisha, street
scenes, bird's eye views of densely populated areas, and Great Buddha of Kamakura.
