Abstract:
Album contains 244 color postcards, mainly of Palestine, with some additional postcards of Lebanon, Syria, and Egypt. Most
descriptive information on the postcards is in German; some also include French and English. Images include sights, scenes
and local peoples in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Haifa, Acre, Nazareth, Gethsemane, Bethany, Jericho, Tiberias (Palestine / Israel);
Damascus, Aleppo (Syria); Cairo, Port Said (Egypt); Beirut, Baalbek (Lebanon). There is also one postcard of Tripoli (Libya).
Most postcards focus on biblical sites.
