Abstract:

Interviews with two members of the firm's early secretarial staff, two retired partners who joined the firm in the 30s, and the son, E.D. Bronson, Jr., of one of the founders. Recollections about Roy and Ed Bronson (founders of the San Francisco firm and early associate Harold McKinnon; other members of the firm; its expansion; cases and clients, etc. Photographs inserted. Interviewees include the following: Rita Convery. Not the Biggest but the Best; Helen Frahm Tinney. A Sense of Family; Edward D. Bronson, Jr. Reminiscences of the Bronson Brothers; Lawrason Driscoll.
