Includes portraits of Robert J. Kerner and colleagues or unidentified others, and photographs taken in Africa. Many of the
African snapshots are from Fez, French Morocco and from West Africa (with Niger, Haute Volta, and Onagadougon identified).
Subjects include city views, street scenes, dwellings, landscapes, festivals and gatherings. Four albumen prints, approximately
1890, of the Bosporus and vicinity by photographers Sébah and Joaillier are present. One rolled group portrait of attendees
at a conference of either the Association of American Universities or the American Historical Association, 1929, is present
(with two apparently conflicting identifying annotations).
