Certificate sent from Adjutant-General's Office, State of California to Captain O. D. Peck in Taylorsville, California. The
certificate states that Captain O. D. Peck of the County of Plumas, State of California has made H. Lamott Jr. his true and
lawful attorney with the authority to receive any money due him from the State of California in relation to the Militia of
the State. At bottom of certificate is written: "Cmdg "Indian Valley Rifles", 5th Brigade CM [California Militia]".
