Abstract:
Three printed broadsides, authorized by David Perkins, from New-England Union Volunteer Company in Concord, Lebanon and Portsmouth,
New Hampshire. The first broadside, printed on official stationery of the company and dated December 26, 1864, is about paying
$775 for substitutes with the prospect of the price advancing, $500 cash (besides Government Bounty) to the current class
of recruits at the Concord office, and $700 to the substitutes at the West Lebanon office. At the top left is the seal of
Sigilium Reipublicae Neo Hantoniensis 1784. The second broadside, printed on official stationery of the company and dated
January 9, 1865, is about the State's quota for substitutes being full, and thus, it's advised that no more men be sent until
further notice. A seal of an eagle and shield is at the top left. The following names are at the top of both broadsides: His

February 10, 1865 from Concord, New Hampshire, is about taking immediate measures to fill Concord's quota in order to avoid
the impending draft and Perkins is prepared to furnish men and perform such business as entrusted him.
