Abstract:
Account of (family?) trip from Stillwater, Okla., to Nordhoff, Calif., by train, by way of Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, and
Arizona, Apr. 29-May 12, 1907. Hamon mainly describes his view from the train, including the weather, terrain, Mexican and
Indian villages and various plants and animals, as well as conditions on the train. He also notes that the Pacific Ocean is
"the largest lake we ever seen." In addition, he often provides the names of places in which the train stops, along with departure
and arrival times.
