Title:
Aritmética y sistema métrico decimal: San Francisco, [Calif.?] : ms., 1927-[1936]
Creator/Contributor:
Quintero Gonzalez, Cayetano., creator
Abstract:
Draft (112 p.) of a math textbook consisting of 40 lessons, each of which includes a series of questions and answers for each
topic. It appears that the first 32 lessons were probably written by Quintero Gonzalez in Spain in 1927. For instance, there
is a reference (p. 103) to the author as "El Español Cayetano Quintero" ("the Spaniard Cayetano Quintero), the dollar is considered
a foreign currency, and answers to all of the lessons are given in "duros," a Spanish currency. The last fourteen pages, consisting
of eight lessons and index, were appended to the original manuscript, probably around 1936, based on Quintero Gonzalez' references
to Franco and the Spanish Civil War (p. 106).
