Mainly typescripts and clippings of Stern's articles; some mounted in scrapbooks. Most of them written, while a newspaper
reporter, regarding Hawaii, Nicaragua, the Vanderbilt newspaper enterprise, salmon industry in Alaska, Hiram W. Johnson, co-operative
marketing, agriculture in California, prohibition and rum-running on the Pacific coast, Upton Sinclair, and the EPIC movement.
Also included are letters to Stern from Frank Bane, Sanford Bates, Thomas G. Chamberlain, Charles Henry Colebaugh (Collier's
Magazine), Abraham Epstein (American Association for Old Age Security), Ruth Finney, Ezra Frederick Scattergood, Belle Sherwin
(National League of Women Voters), and Magner White.
