of Mexico, including silverwork, textiles, fireworks, pottery, blacksmithing, hammock making, blown glass, sombrero making,
woodworking, basket weaving, caning, etc. Illustration for January includes summary of Mexican industries and arts; descriptions
of silverwork, huipiles, fireworks and ceramic pottery; and a biography of artist Rafaél Muñoz López, whose work illustrates
each monthly spread of the calendar. All other monthly spreads illustrated with images of craftspeople at work.
