Abstract: The Collection on Doris Fish includes items from the August 2000 Doris Fish exhibit at the GLBT Historical Society, as well
as pastel artwork related to Doris Fish. Born in Australia, Fish (1952-1991), came to San Francisco in 1976. She was a performer,
drag queen, actor, and occasional sex worker. She worked closely with Philip Ford and was a member of Sluts-A-Go-Go. The collection
includes a photo album; a 2000 interview with Jackie Hyde (by Connie Champagne) about Fish; a memorial magazine; articles;
documentation regarding the exhibit; and additional photographic materials.
