Collection contains Holograph ledger of New England pharmacy and general store, with transactions dated from 1840-1852. Completed
in two or more hands, on ruled paper, bound in quarter tan sheep and blue-grey paper over boards. Contains entries for opium,
morphine, Russia salve, rum, brandy, spirits of turpentine, quinine, belladonna, gum Arabic, vials, iodine, strychnine, linament,
cough mixture, etc.. Other items and services include 1/4 day pay soldier's muster, 1 day recording taxes, tobacco, calico,
ribbon, rice, etc. Final page signed "John Rollins" and mentions Louden, N.H.. Dated entries each consist list of customer's
name, list of items sold and their prices.
