The Los Angeles Area Real Estate Ledger documents investment records, insurance, expenses, and receipts for more than one-hundred
and thirty land parcels in Wilmington, San Pedro, and Harbor City, with a small number of properties located in the cities
of Torrance, Redondo Beach, Compton, Lawndale, Hermosa Beach, Long Beach, Inglewood, Lomita, Watts, Lynwood, and Van Nuys.
Records cover two distinct time spans, July 1930 through December 1944, and February 1962 through March 1977. Included in
the records are names of previous owners, insurance carriers and agents, descriptions of property, details regarding purchases
and sales, expenditures for development, improvements, repairs, services, various filing costs and charges, and receipts for
rent.
