Biographical/Historical note
The Sacramento Central America Action Committee was founded in 1982. The organization worked to enhance social, political,
and economic justice in Central America. It was also vocal regarding U.S. involvement and policies effecting Central America
through marches, rallies, and boycotts. In August 1985 it issued its first newsletter, which later became titled
Central America Connection. Today, the organization is known as Sacramento Action for Latin America.
