Biography/Administrative History

Most of Viola Lawrence's 30 year career was spent at Columbia Pictures. She was nominated for Academy Awards for her work on the films Pal Joey and Pepe.

Scope and Content of Collection

The collection consists of trade publications such as newsletters, periodicals and reports; photographs, awards that Ms. Lawrence received in certificates, plaques and trophy format and a few clippings pertaining to her life and career as a film editor.
