Biographical / Historical

Bernard Weitzman (1923-2017) was an American film company executive and producer. Weitzman received his Master of Arts in Cinema/Television from USC in 1967. In 1949 he began his 60 plus year career in the entertainment industry at CBS as a page, followed by executive positions at Desilu, Universal Studios, MGM, and Lorimar Productions.

Scope and Contents

Collection consists of reports, ledgers, and other business records associated with American executive Bernie Weitzman's time with Desilu Productions. Materials include records on the television programs Star Trek (1966-1969), Mannix (1967-1975), Ironside (1967-1975), Mission: Impossible (1966-1973).
