Abstract: Harry Palmer Purdie letter (SAFR 235, HDC 475) was written by Purdie to his former teacher Miss Porter, while he is aboard
the ship BUTESHIRE. Sent from Tacoma, WA in January 1906, the ship took on provisions before sailing to Freemantle, Australia.
On the second page is another letter (from Mrs. Purdie?) to Miss Porter talking about missing Sausalito and the sun. This
collection has been processed and is ready for use without restriction.
