Scope and Content of Collection
The Egla Lopez Montero Collection mainly consists of handmade ministry teaching materials. Subjects directly relate to women,
parenting, marriage, and children’s ministries. Montero created most of the materials for use in regional and national conferences;
original drafts are scattered throughout the collection. The collection also contains materials Montero kept while she attended
Los Angeles County Office of Education conferences as the secretary for the Los Nietos School District. The bulk of the collection
is from the 1990s.
