Biography/Administrative History

Patricia M. Hacker was born in 1948 in Sonoma County. She moved to San Francisco in the late 1970s and has been a San Francisco resident since then.

Scope and Content of Collection

Collection contains 479 black and white and color print photographs of the San Francisco Gay Freedom Day Parade (1979), San Francisco International Lesbian & Gay Freedom Day Parade (1982-1993) and San Francisco Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Celebration (1996-2002) taken by Patricia M. Hacker between 1979 and 2002 in San Francisco, California. The 1996 photographs document Dyke March and Pink Saturday. Many of the parade photographs focus on San Francisco Dykes on Bikes Women's Motorcycle Contingent.
