This collection consists of the papers of Professor Hans Nordewin von Koerber, Ph.D. These papers include clippings about the University of Southern California, where he taught Asian studies, as well as correspondences, short books he wrote, programs, newsletters, and studies.

Biographical / Historical

Hans Nordewin von Koerber, Ph.D. was a professor of Asian Studies at the University of Southern California during the 1930s. He was also a counselor to the Chinese Vice-Consulate at Los Angeles and an honorary curator of Asian art at the Los Angeles Museum.
