Abstract: Approximately 10000 posters, circa 1955-2018, documenting gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) life in the
United States and abroad.
The collection is open to researchers. There are no access restrictions.
All requests for permission to publish or quote from manuscripts must be submitted in writing to the ONE Archivist. Permission
for publication is given on behalf of ONE National Gay and Lesbian Archives at USC Libraries as the owner of the physical
items and is not intended to include or imply permission of the copyright holder, which must also be obtained.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
The materials in this collection were donated by numerous donors over several decades. One of the largest collections of
posters ONE Archives acquired was from Morris Kight and his McCadden Place Collection. Donors for specific items are identified,
if known. However, the donor and date of acquisition are unknown for a majority of the materials in this collection.
