Fuller Evangelistic Association (FEA) from June 6, 1980 to June 13, 1992. The program sought to combine the interests and
skills of both organizations to provide educational resources for ministers world-wide using the most up-to-date technology.

Biography/Administrative History
The Charles E. Fuller Institute of Evangelism and Church Growth was a joint venture of Fuller Theological Seminary and the
Fuller Evangelistic Association (FEA) from June 6, 1980 to June 13, 1992. The program sought to combine the interests and
skills of both organizations to provide educational resources for ministers world-wide using the most up-to-date technology.
Key participants included David Allan Hubbard, C. Peter Wagner, and Carl George.
The Institute hosted seminars, and created the radio program The Pastor’s Update and Today’s Christian. The partnership ended
in 1992, prior to the Fuller Evangelistic Association’s closing. During that time, ownership of many of FEA’s programs transferred
to Fuller Theological Seminary and incorporated into the Individualized Learning Program.
Scope and Content of Collection
The Charles E. Fuller Institute of Evangelism and Church Growth Collection, 1969-1996 contains records related to the joint
venture between Fuller Theological Seminary and the Fuller Evangelistic Association. The collection primarily contains annual
board meeting minutes from the files of President David Allan Hubbard. It also contains files from the Fuller Theological
Seminary Provost’s office. Records include the formal transfer of ownership of "Today’s Christian" and the "Pastor’s Update"
to Fuller Theological Seminary
