This collection includes administrative materials, newsletters, programs, and articles, as well as some notes and journal entries, primarily related to Zimmerman’s role as member and officer in Sha’ar Zahav, an LGBTQ-focused synagogue in San Francisco; activism against the Briggs Initiative; participation in the San Francisco Bay Area LGBTQ theater and literary scene; and work with LGBTQ organizations at Stanford University.
