Historical note

The Center for Feminist Research works with the Gender Studies Program at USC to create research opportunities for the study of women, gender, and feminism. Through seminars, workshops, conferences, and other gatherings, scholars, students and members of the greater Los Angeles community can share interests and concerns about gender in the community, society and the world. The Center offers fellowships for USC faculty and graduate students, fellowships for students in Communications and Cinema, and an affiliated scholars program that provides access to USC for feminist scholars from other institutions. The CFR is governed by a Steering Committee composed of faculty from across the University.
