Biography / Administrative History

The San Joaquin County Mining Company was created in 1900 by a group of Stockton businessmen lead by Luis Gerlach. The company engaged in quartz mining in Calaveras County with little success. After changing ownership in the succeeding years, the San Joaquin County Mining Company went out of business.

Collection consists of photocopies of records of the San Joaquin County Mining Company. Includes articles of incorporation, stock certificates, correspondence, financial records, and a variety of other documents.
