This collection contains two letters written by Private Edward L. Porstenson, American Expeditionary Force during the First
World War. Porstenson was in Co. G, 128th Infantry of the AEF. In both letters, Porstenson wrote from France to a woman named
Beatrice Pridley in Virginia, Illinois.
