damage, and personal vacations in various locations in the United States and abroad.

Scope and Content
This small collection contains black-and-white negatives and prints, belonging to Vito A. Vanoni (1904-1999), Professor of
Hydraulics, Emeritus, at the California Institute of Technology, documenting geological features and hydrology, earthquake
damage, and personal vacations in various locations in the United States, and along the Maule River, Santiago, Chile. The
collection also contains film reels of hydrological features, including the Salmon River, Idaho, as well as a copy of Vanoni's
obituary.
