Biographical History

Posy was born on March 21, 1893 in Mogilev, Russia; attended Rabbinical seminary in Mogilev; edited the Jewish express in London, England (1916-20), and, after coming to the U.S., newspapers in Chicago, Milwaukee, New York, and Los Angeles; published works in Yiddish and English, including Shalif un Tamare (1929), Israeli tales and legends (1948), Mystic trends in Judaism (1966), and Banginen (1981).
