Description: __Artist's Statement:__ 'Sheltered In Place' is acrylic paint on a 10x20 canvas. The thin yellow line is paper giftwrap ribbon glued on. I painted this in April as the numbers of American infected and dying from Covid-19 virus were rising daily. Because I reacted in various ways to it during the process of completing the painting I have purposely left the scene open enough to enable the viewer to relate with his or her own emotions and story. __Participant age:__ 80 __Category:__ Adult Age 15+: Drawing or Painting
